Thumbs up cd player

can anyone tell me if ford offered a factory am-fm-cd player for the 1993 f150? i want to keep it stock if at all possible. any help with no.s# would help a whole lot!! thanks, syscobigdaddy. my ride is an "93" f150 xl trim 4.9 6cyl. 4speed auto ;a/c; ps; pb dual fuel tanks; headliner pkg. am-fm-cassette. all original with only 57100 miles as of 5/23/2005. i got it from my father after his father passed 2 years ago. interior looks like it just came off the showroom floor! as soon as i can i will post some pics. body in excellent shape; paint average because it sat for 2 years after my grandfather suffered an stroke.

I dont think they made factory CD players then, but I know some cd players out of different models (mustangs etc.) will work, Im just not sure which ones.

Someone might chime in and say.

I believe you can use any of the single DIN cd players. As long as they are not the JBL audio versions. Because they had a factory sub and amp, the had a few more plugins on the back of the CD players.

Yeah, your stock radio should have the 2 plugs, one is for power and ground, other is for speakers, and the harnesses are grey and black.

If you find a cd player that has the same 2 plugs on the back and its singe din, it will work like abrdn419 said.
