I have an 04 Lariat with the 6 disc Audiofile system. Recently, my unit just keeps changing the mode from CD's to AM to FM changing stations without any input from me.

Now if I try to adjust the volume on the steering wheel, it just changes stations. Is it a problem with the unit or with the steering wheel?

Help me it's driving me mad hehehehehehehehehehehe

could be one, both or neither. Check the wire connections at both ends. If they are good, you might want to chase the wires back to the HU. If you had a spike somewhere in the wire bundle, you might have fused a few of the wires together. This will cause the controlls to send mixed signals to the HU.
