I was wondering....I heard they were coming out in Febuary....and I haven't seen them around.

 

As far as retail goes, Circuit city is losing the Alpine account.
Alpine is moving to Best Buy. Actually they allready have.
The new units are just starting to trickle in.

I went in to my local stereo shop for an alpine(always used alpine) and ended up buying the kenwood. It just looked more advanced, with graphic display, features, etc. I didnt realize the new kenwoods were so nice.
I got the x789 model.

 

The only reason I want to get an Alpine is because I have an IPOD and although I know every major brand jumped aboard this year...this will be alpine's 2nd generation Ipod decks....so hopefully they'll be more advanced!!

The 05 models?? They are out, Ive seen them at cruthchfield. Not the cheapest place, good place to look at specs though.

 

I've only seen the intro models there....not the good ones!

 

At crutchfield it says when the higher models will be available. I just picked up the 9831 from Ultimate Electronics for $235.99 and that included 3 year replaceable warranty.
