6cd player
Hi All,
I have a 98 150s/c with the 6 cd player behind the driver. Recently when playing a cd, it started to sound really wierd...making tinny crackling noises and finally it crapped out.
Now when I select the cd player on the dash radio, it starts out on disc 1 and cycles thru all 6 discs and I cant hear them changing, Is the thing shot? I have read on previous posts that these units are junk, and I dont want to pay for a replacement at the dealer, Should I just call Crutchfield and get an equal replacement? It probably is not worth fixing, right?

The F150 has 103k and still going strong!!
