HU to match interior

Anyone know of a headunit that has green LED's to match the rest of the guages? Or something that looks halfway decent in a 97 F150?

Older Alpine units were green. Don't know about the new ones. I bet the cheaper ones are green.

Hope this helps.

I don't really want an older one or a real cheap unit... I think I'll get one with a multi-color display and see if one of the colors match up decently. I won't be able to stand having the LEDs and display on an aftermarket unit be blue or red or something, since the majority of my driving is at night (third shift, and all)... it would freaking drive me nuts, which doesn't seem to be a problem for anyone else here :P

I'll post my results with whatever HU I get.

explosivo:

almost all units over 150 these days come with a multi-color display. Major brands go mostly like.
Kenwood: Green or Red
Blaupunkt or Clarion: Multi-Color 8+
JVC: Green, Red, Yellow and some models Blue
Sony: Generally one color wonders on the lower end units and 4+ on the high end units.

If you know what features you want and what brands you lean towards. Let me know and I'll help you track down a few companies that can actually give you honest answers and usually a pretty darn good price.

Good luck to you
