Do you remember when 17’ wheels were like “whoa”? Now even 20’ inch wheels look small on big trucks.
Yes, large wheels and tires are bad for traction, but if I were going to be seriously racing I would just get some 15’ slicks.
When you shave off 40+ pounds per corner, you will notice a difference.

I have to agree with Aryton, Go with some small billet slicks if you really want performance. Just keep some 20" for street driving.

if you go with 15" slicks, you have to shave your brake calipers down so the rims will fit on the truck. thats why most L guys go with 16's
