Super Chip 2 Stage or Diablo Delta Chip

I am getting to the point of two many mods to program into the chip to keep it running right. I have just added a Anderson Power Pipe & Pauls High Performance Extude Hone Intake. Since then my truck is pinging on a hill with 20% throttle. I have a Super Chips flip chip. May want to go to a Diablo Delta Chip. One reason is that the delta chip can be flipped with out turing the truck off to reset the switch. The second reason is that I live in Ca and can not find a tuner to reburn it out here. Where as the Diablo chip can be reburn from my local speed shop since they already deal with diablo.

Need some help. Has any one had both, if so what have you had problems with either one. Also for people that use the diablo delta chip has it worked out well. I know that Jim at JDM as done a great job with my chip, but cant wait a week or two between reburns. Also it is tought to send it 3000 miles away every time I have a new mode or try to make fine adj.

Any suggestions would help. Thanks In Advance.

Hey Dave,

Just curious on exactly how fast your truck is? Did you ever run it at the track? What did it get on the dyno? I'm curious because of ALL of the mods that you have. You by far have the most mods that I have seen on their HD.

Yeah Dave,
I'm with crockett.. You may very well have the fastest Harley on the planet. as you sig. states. Let us know if you ever dyno this beast and/or go to the track. Your mod list is insane. Can't be much help on your question. I have only owned a Superchip.

You can change the Delta chip without turning off the truck?!

My friend has a VW GTI and his chip program can be changed by holding the cruise control button down. Is it like that? I might consider the Delta vs the Superchip if this is true.

There is a toggle switch with the Diablo that you mount somewhere under the dash--and yes, you can 'shift-on-the-fly'. I highly recommend Johnny Lightning... have heard a lot of good things about Paul at Razor's Edge as well--stay away from a certain tuner in Houston . Unless you want an excuse for a new built short block .

How does the PSP chip work? I was on the web site and saw the 4 program chip! Sounds cool but does anyone have one? How does it work? Can you switch programs on the fly?

Don't know... PSP wasn't doing HD tunes when I got mine. Maybe they do now.

PSP still doesn't do HD's as of a conversation with Sal a week ago. There is no ETA.

Thanks for all the great comments. Have decided to get a diablo delta chip with the key anti theft and led option. Will get it put in on thursday. Will let you know how it runs and take some pictures. The program is done by Paul(REM). My local shop in Ca already has the chip so he can download it from paul. I am sure there will be alot of fine tunning to do. Cant wait to test it out then take it to they dyno after my new long block.
