well i tried to get some better pics of the tiedowns, but the angle they are at and lighting makes it really hard for some reason.
o well, i'll get a good pic of them sooner or later with all the pics that i take

i really need to hit the bedmat with some z16, talk about looking dull and dirty. LoL

and i had to test out my new tiedowns. How about some HD orange and black bungee cords? LoL

In case anybody's wondering, i got them from Kmart a while ago. the orange ones are about a foot longer than the black ones. The orange is just the right length for going across the bed from side to side, with plenty of stretch left in them for using them to strap stuff down. and an orange + a black is just the right length for going across the bed at an angle with plenty of slack still
just another little detail. LoL

Hopefully i'll have a bedrug by this spring!

Just for my curiosity, how much was the whole set for the tie-downs?

not much. i don't remember exactly how much cuz i bought them about 2 years ago when i 1st got the truck and needed some bungees to hold down the tarp covering my luggage on a trip down teh shore before i had my tonneau, but i do remember i bought them all separate, like they didn't come in a pack or anything. But the Kmart around here still has some left. if i remember, next time i'm there i'll look, but it wasn't much, and they are nice bungee's and pretty heavy duty, and the hooks are industrial grade plastic, so they won't scratch the bed

sorry... i meant the chrome tie-down hooks.
I've got an 8-piece set of 1" ratchet style straps.

anyway, i got mine from Mr. Bling (who wishes to remain anonymous )

Would hauling a bike be considered a mod?

Cause, if you mod the truck, it voids the warranty. I am talking about engine mods such as blower pullies and chips.

I guess it would just have to happen and then find out if Fords warranty would cover it. Maybe someone can put an expensive piece of furniture in the back and then if it falls out, go to Ford and ask them to replace it because it fell out of the back of the truck.

From the way some of the guys were talking, the furniture would have to be from Harley-Davidson.

Would Ford warranty a Ducati or Honda if it fell out?

To be a little more serious, I think it would have to depend on your dealer and the circumstances. If it were invovling a lot of money, I am sure there would be an investigation.
