Quite unique, but I'd have to see them installed. The Lightning tails are a little too much for my taste. No offense intended to those running them! Just my humble $.02.

I still think the Lightning tails boast superior build quality than any other aftermarket brand on the market...maybe you can get a pair and be the test dummy. I still like the look of the L tails though.

Yeah I like the CF look much more than the chrome look myself...I found these on a site called streetbeatonline there under ford truck parts.

Has anyone tried replacing their lights with PIAA HID's yet?
just curious.

Cool

has anybody tried the no tails look
take a look at gallary
stock tails with carbon and black pigment treatment
shows up totally when needed without standard red and white lens showing
real different on a black truck

Those look like the CFs that a guy in our group put on his Black 02 HD. Looks pretty good. I prefer the Lightning tails myself but to each his own for sure.

Rich, are these like yours?

I like the Carbon look JMHO, I got a chance to see them both in person at our meet. They both look good though.

the cf ones look cool, but i think with the clear and chrome headlights, the clear and chrome taillights balance it all out, but just another opinion out of the bunch they all look cooler than the stockers
The biggest thing with getting an aftermarket set of tails is the quality. most aren't that great and leak and all that. Since the L ones are oem Ford, their quality is alot better, which was another reason i went with them over knockoff L's or different ones.
I think the cf ones look cool though, i say give em a try and be different from the bunch and let us know how ya like em

I saw the CF ones in person and thought they looked cheap. Should call them carbon paper.
