Looks nice What internal volume you got? I bet it would be nice how that JL blows that cup holder in the air when you turn it up Mine fires downward to the floor.

Is the rear consule on the '01 and '02 different from the front ones on the '00. Just curios.

 

o yes, huge difference!

lids aside, cuz they all have different lids, but the 00 console comparted to a 01 and up console is like comparing a miata to a excursion

i think the 00 console is pleny big for me, i barely have anything in there, but when you look at the two side by side, there is a big difference.

the 01 and 02 and 03 consoles are alot taller than the 00, cuz the 01/02/03 HD's don't have armrests like the 00's do. the console is higher so it doubles as an arm rest. its wider too cuz it can be without any armrests there.
the 02 and 03's front console is the expy style too, so it goes all the way up to the dash, and makes use of that dead space on top of the tranny hump.

the rear consoles are shaped a little different than the front consoles on the 01/02/03 though also.
you can't put a 01/02/03 console in your 00 HD unless you want to take off your armrests and get the seat side reupholstered.

if it wasn't for the armrests, or the consoles being taller and wider (one or the other), i'd have a 03 console in my truck right now cuz i love the look of the expy style console going all the way up to the dash.

whew...never knew tehre was so much to type about consoles
