well i took my truck to the dealer to fix a problem it had so i had to take all mods off. i got it back today and put on the cold air kit and the throttle bodie and my boost gauge now reads 10psi. at the dealer they had to do something with the supercharger and had to take the upper pulley off. could it be that maybe they installed a lightning upper pulley instead? that's my only guess. before i was running a 8lb lower, cold air kit, and throttlebody and i was getting 15 psi. any ideas??

 

what did they do? what did you take it in for? did they say anything about mods including the chip? the reason i ask is that apparently they can alter the boost accuator to change the psi

 

they changed the cylinder head temp. and the knock sensors.

they R&R supercharger and intake manifold to access sensors.

i am quoting from the paperwork they gave me.

 

so does this mean that i have to get a 4lb lower now to run about 14psi. or does it mean i have the same boost as before and i put the 8lb lower, like i had before??

 

Take a measurement of the blower pulley and ask the guy's in the lightning forum for a measurment of their pulley or I quess somebody can tell you the size of the HD pulley? Good Luck? Is the weather much different now? It could change how much boost you are making?
