Hey cobra, did you go to cecil and race JL HD vs HD? if so, what were the times for both of you's? any pics/vid?

 

yeah i went , we didn't race though , jl had some traction prob so he never realy got in a good run but ran lik 12.9 at 106 than turned up the boost and spun so he just stoped, i couldn't get the same 60fts so i ran 12.9 and with a lil m,ore boost went 12.8 at 106.4 or somthing maybee ill go back up to atco when its colder

 

ah too bad. i wanted to see some pics or vid of the 2 HD's going head to head. Didn't he bolt up his old KB onto the HD? I guess you still hold the title then. still good times though.

i'm off thursday and friday (28th and 29th) for thanksgiving weekend. if your gonna head up to atco then, let me know.

so when are you getting a kb blower?

with all that extra weight u have u are gonna need to hit that truck with a good amount of nos , im sure your truck is alot heavier than stock

i was just curious cobra, when you get the built motor and new s/c, are you gonna do a nos setup also?
are you planning on getting slicks to see what you can get out of it now? or gonna wait until after the rebuild?

 

nah im not into nos on a super charged truck, im not saying its bad , its def cool how fast u can go but im looking to be fast all the time , i had nos on my mustang and got tired of it

 

yeah, if i ever got the money and got a L and built it up for racing, i think i'd stay away from the nos also
