Cool

well i got the estimate and ok from the insurance....4400.00 is what i have to work from...hmmmmm!

one new fender, one new hood, new windshield, and paint...seems like an awful lot of money....

still wondering if i should get the stock flames or have them air-brushed on with some silver-pearl or black ...or maybe harley orange.

how long has it been taking to get the hoods once ordered...
im missing my truck alot...ive gone from a real bad feeling when i saw that branch next to my damaged truck....

to anxious as an expecting father...

well that windshield is pretty expensive. make sure they replace it with the HD one.

anyway, when i ordered my hood in august, they told me 6-8 weeks to get one, i went on vacation for 10 days, when i got back i had like 6 calls on the answering maching from cervini's asking when i was gonna pick up the hood. so it took them about a week to catch up on the orders or whatever so i could get mine. I picked it up the day after i got back, and let it sit on the truck for about 10 days unpainted (supposed to leave it on the truck for 5 days in the sun to finish curing, or bake it in an over...= more money and gotta test fit it anyway) and then got it painted for 250.

As for the flames, i definately say get them painted on. even if you go with the stock style. The stick on flames make the truck look cheaper IMO. i'd rather of paid more for painted pinstrips than a sticker. So since you have the opportunity now, i'd say get airbrushed ones. Maybe silver pearl into orange with black tips? like burnt look flames? definately post pics when she's all better
