Where did you get the lower grill, and how much was it?
Thanks,

i got the grill from Razors Edge Motorsports - and they had the best price on the market.

Josh - i think i am going to do a pulley swap - both upper and lower, new plugs, a factory tech valve body, and the deep tanny pan.

Looks good, JonRauch!! Those were my first 2 mods as well. In fact, our trucks look like twins now

Will get my Lightning tails this weekend so that's my next mod.

Yep, you're right. Didn't notice early this morning when I posted. So are you going to do anything since you removed the stripe? Flames or a new accent stripe?

I also notice you have a lid which I don't yet. That's next for me. Which lid did you go with? It looks good on there. Also, I heard some guys saying they were having a hard time getting the color match on the DSG.

rick is right - its an ARE lid - the paint matched perfectly - all the ARE dealer did was take the paint code and they did everything from there. and yes - i am planning on adding a cowl hood (the relexxions one if i can find it) and then doing some kind of ghost flame motife, whether it be an all out flame job or just a ghost flame pinstripe.

yeah, i've heard good things from a few people on here about ARE with matching teh DSG paint.

Rick, nobody makes a matching lower grille insert for your 01 HD. The only thing you could do is either get one off a 00 Hd somehow (the dealer doesn't sell them separate from teh valance though) or get it chrome plated. don't know why ford stopped making the lower grille chrome after 00

Thanks!
