moomba did his with paint.

a little too risky i say...begging for a ticket or a rear ending i think when i had my stock tails i just got the slotted taillight covers so just the 3 bubbles were showing.

post pics if you do it.

Believe it or not, Harley#356, I just got confirmation today that they are in the mail. Should have them by the end of the week so I will hopefully have pics early next week

i tried but gave up after 1 lense. i got a dremel tool and cut the red lense off the silver/black backing and sprayed the inside of the lense with vht "shadow" which is made for blacking out lenses. the only problem is the glue is on so good that you can either save the lense or backing so you would need 2 sets to make 1 pair. i ended up just spraying the white backup lights from the inside to give it a gray look (matches the gray truck) and also the cargo light above the cab.
the vht "shadow" would not look good if you spray it on the outside, if would give it a dull look.

just picture all the white on all lenses a light smoke color, you can't really notice it unless sitting side by side with a stock one.

HawgGawd,
I actually got mine from someone on the board. Not sure if he can get anymore.

No offense, but I don't want to give out his name myself since I don't want him getting inundated with requests.

I know he views the board so I'm sure he'll respond if he can get any for ya.

Try checking some dealers or this site since they also carry them and the price ain' t too bad: http://www.oemfordparts.com/

Good luck!!

Hey HawgGawd,
I talked to the guy who set me up with the tails. Send me an email BPayne@yahoo.com and I can give you his info.
