well i'm pretty sure they started making the 00's in april. mine was built on may 18th and is #356, so you guys should both have a relatively low number on the scale

Put whatever the F you want on your truck. It's your money you dolled out. Don't listen to everybody not telling you to do stuff. Be unique--- that's the reason you bought the truck anyways, isn't it? So wha if it's a 2wd sport truck. How many people that own a 4wd and a grill guard actualy utilize that grille guard (or even the 4wd for that matter)? I think a nice chrome grille guard would be very unique and I would love to see somebody that actually voids from the flock.
