sounds awsome!! happy birthday too! got some cool HD stuff then huh? You should see my christmas list....90% of the stuff is for my truck, the other 10% is HDf150 stuff for me like shirts and jackets

anyway, i saw those on ebay before for the rear, but checked a few days ago, and they only had the front. it said in the description though they had defects on them, so i'd rather get them from the store so i could check them out myself just to be safe, but if i can't, i'm gonna be looking on ebay again.
they had a rear runner mat that went all the way across the rear, and rear individual mats. i like the indiv. ones better. I'll post hte part # for them if i can get my hands on a set. I know i saw them in SC when i was on vacation in myrtle beach. i knew i should have picked up a set while i was down there My aunt lives down there though so if worse comes to worse, i'll have her ship me a set for the rear.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. You are one seriously afflicted H-D F1 FITTY junky! It seems that my birthday presents are still pouring in since I'm getting a new co. truck. A new 2500 series 'C' word with the 300 horse six liter mill. Whew, 2 new trucks in a few weeks time! The best part is they buy the gas, maintain it, and pay me to pile on the miles. Sure keeps the miles off my wheels. Being a tax leach does have its priveliges!

Actually the taxpayers are footing the bill since they ultimately pay my salary. As for the Chevy, we take whatever comes in at the time we're due a new ride. The last few were Dodge, before that Ford and so on.

Just about any thing would be an improvement over the clapped out '94 Ranger I've been driving for over five years now. It's got 173,000 miles on it!

Just in from putting my Wifes new Z71 in the garage and found that one of the neighbors cats had been all up on, over and down on my H-D F150! That's it! I've declared war on all felines in the vicinity. I suppose I should've closed the doors earlier but neglected to do so since we had a housefull of company. My bad but F@#* them mangey mouse eatin' sonsabiatches! Since they enjoy being all over the truck so much... I'll see how they like being under the 20" Good$Years when I get the chance. I wonder if I could find some feline leukimia extract on Ebay and declare a little biological warfare on the sandy gritty pawed little fur *****.

There, I feel a little better since I've vented some...NOT!!! I'd like nothing more than to reincarnate the stupid bastage that brought those hairball pukin' ,slipper *****tin' in sonsabiatches into this country and take him for a good ole Delaware County sleigh-ride... Hey Ethel what's that up in the road... a head?

A little antifreeze in a cup will take care of that problem.....

abullerm, that would be great to have ya come to the meet! i'm organizing a cruise for april/may, and then next fall we are going to do the mikes famous thing. I'll be posting about it wehn the time gets closer, so i'm sure you'll see the updates as the time nears.

FXDX, i totally agree with ya. I say we rid the earth of all cats and birds Damn birds love to crap on my freshly washed tonneau all the time, and every now and then, i'll notice cat paw prints from the back of the tonneau, up on the roof, and sliding down teh windshield and onto the hood all it needs is one of the times the cat to slip and put its claws out and slide right down the paint Whenever i see a stray cat, i either throw a rock or something at it, or if i'm in my old truck i try to run em down! LoL

Alright, let's not get the animal activists all in a huff. I don't want to winterize the pusswahs since my pets may wind up getting into it. I was thinking of a more selective removal tactic... A Have-a-heart trap baited up with a little tuna then a prompt relocation enroute to one of the many areas in which I work.

There are so many of the nasty mangey things around here it's disgusting! People move away and leave thier animals behind to fend for themselves. I don't get it! Our pets are family members! They get better care than most kids.

I've got to machine compound, glaze and wax the paint on the H-D F150 since it looks pretty poozely sitting next to the new Z71. That Chevy has some beautiful black over pewter paint! Almost show quality. While I was cleaning off the paw prints, I noticed the paint was hairline cracked in the roof gutters. This I attribute to a design flaw in which seam sealer was used in an area that should be of a one piece design rather than three. The seam should be along the upper door jam between the 'A' and 'B' pillars just below the edge of the roof line. I know better than to have it fixed since they'll only screw it up. I'll just keep an eye on it and do it myself if needed.

i have those same 2 roof channel paint cracks. had them since day one and they have only gotten worse. not spreading out of the channels cuz its only tehre where they used that soft sealant type stuff, but it still looks bad. i'm thinking about taking it in in the spring and telling them to ONLY shoot the channels. i took it in before and tehy said they would have to paint the entire cab, take off my ventvisors, remove the pinstripe, etc. etc. i told them screw that. there is no reason that they can't just paint the 2 channels. its probalby cuz yours is garage kept that you are only just now noticing the cracks developing i'll have to get a pic of mine..they aren't pretty,...looks like a bunch of white lines in the 2 roof rain channels.

Fortunately, my truck stays in the garage with the door closed. We have a neighbor who feeds all the stray cats in the neighborhood so I know what your're talking about. They crap all over my lawn and dig up my planter boxes.

Thought about the anti-freeze thing but knowing my luck I'd get caught and locked up for cruelty to animals though it's alright they can run free and sh$# on my lawn!!

Mine is garaged as well but the doors were open for a couple hours. At least the vermin didn't climb all over the scooters or the new Z71.

Regarding the roof seam cracks; The stealer was just attempting to discourage you from having the repair done. There is no way in hell they'd have to take the paint that far down the sides! Granted you can't bury the cracks. It would have to be stripped in the affected area and refinishes. I for one am capable of doing the job and defying you to discern the repaired area from original!

The world is full of excuse making ametures.
