thanks baddgene for the hookup on the sub. i was suprised how good it sounds for just an 8" and it hits harder than i thought. not window rattling, but a nice and *cheap* addition to the stock system. i eventually want to go with a whole new system, but for now, this is perfect. good price, nice sound, easy install...can't go wrong.

phillyrube, i should have told ya to sit inside my truck today and close the doors and listen to it, cuz it sounds alot better than with the doors open. not sure why, but it does. As for any distortion...it only gets a little distorted when the stereo is turned up over 1/2 way, but that's plenty loud, so i have no complaints with it. can crank it up pretty loud, and you can adjust the bass on the back of the sub, and on your HU, so that it sounds nice and clear. definately a worth while mod.

It'll work on your 01, but you either have to trim the bottom of your cupholder, or trim the bottom of the sub so it'll fit cuz the supercrew floors are different or something (like higher up)...but it is pretty easy to make it fit. Talk to Rockpick in the kingranch forum, he did his and said it was really easy.
