$1000 rebate on '02 HD

I just got a postcard from my dealership announcing $1000 rebate on '02 Harley Davidson trucks. I'm not sure if the rebate is in lieu of special financing rates or whether it stacks on top of any other rebates but it's worth looking into if you're interested in a '02 Harley. I'd be tempted to switch out my '02 KR supercab for the '02 HD if I can get 0% financing and $1000 rebate...

Wow! Sounds like a good deal for sure.

Was it just a local dealer rebate offer or is it backed by Ford? If it was a local dealer offer then it would depend on what they would offer to sell the truck for.

If you could get the truck for X-plan price plus the rebate then it is a no-brainer...do it!

There was some words at the end of the postcard that made it seem like a manufacturer rebate. I don't have the postcard with me so I can't check. I'm gonna visit my dealership this weekend and see what they can do. If I can make the monthly payment comparable, I just might do it. I already have a X plan pin and I may be able to swing another A plan pin too.

It's a manufacturer rebate. Here's a link to the latest rebates on Ford's site.

Its either 1000 rebate OR the special financing. And 0.0 is no avail for supercrew HD. I just bought one, so I took the 4.9%.

HeHateMe,

Was the 4.9% for 48 months the 'standard' rate that you were offered along with accepting the $1000 cash?
