Paintless Dent Removal
Got a dent in my passenger side door last winter around chrismas time. parked out in the boonies and somebody still parked next to me and opened their door into mine
Put a little crease mark under the passenger side door handle. ANyway, just got around to it on tuesday to take it out to the dealer and had Dent Doctor repair it. Since it was so close to the edge, he couldnt reach it by taking off the door panel, and unless he drilled a hole in my door jamb, the only other way would have been to get it filled and the door repainted and i didn't want that cuz its alreay been REpainted twice! (long story) and didn't want a 3rd REcoat since the orange peel on that door is the worst on the truck. So he drilled a little tiny hole for his tool to reach in there, put some sort of suction cup thing with a bracket on teh door, and with his tools worked the dent out from the inside of the door panel. Took him all of 2 minutes and he was finished and 75 bucks later, my door was perfect again! Expensive, but its my only dent on the truck, and albeit tiny and hard to notice, i did notice that with the zaino, it stood out more cuz the truck was so shiney, and im not kidding. LoL.
anyway, here's the before pic. (yes, my truck is FILTY in this pic, but she does get nasty sometimes cuz no garage, and she's nasty again now cuz all this rain, but i'll get an after pic later this week sometime and she'll be all bling bling again. LoL!)
hard to see in the pic and it looks smaller there, but it was alot more noticible in person

I was gonna wait until i had the after pics to post this message, but my main reason to post this now was so i could say i am now officially a POST *****!!!
I just reached the postition of #10 on the top 10 posters on this site tonight! Won't be long til i'm at #9 either. LoL.

We have a little ding in the driver's door, and now it looks like someone backed into the rear bumper and left a ding. Went and got an estimate yesterday (gotta have a Kleen truck for Mike's!!) and decided it wasn't worth $600.00 to get them fixed. Gonna try the Dent Doctor down here and see what he can do.
Meanwhiles, the bullet hole you see in the back is a decal!!

Harley #356 ,
Oh man, do I feel your pain. I've had my Screw for over a year now and now dings until last week. I went to the gym and remembered parking by some little white car. When I came back, no white car and a nice white ding was left
I was so pissed when I saw it. I went home right away and got the white paint off but have a small ding (just like yours) left behind. I wouldve given that car a 225lb 'hood dance' if it were still there. It really shows up now that I have put on several coats of LG. Gotta call the Dent Wizard and get her fixed now... here goes another $60 plus. Thanks guys.... just had to vent

Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is great! I work in the collision repair industry (estimating side) and it is definitely the way to go. As the technology and tools get better there is less limitation on what size the dings are and where they are located. Cheaper and better than having someone sand, patch, and repaint your vehicle.
IMO.

I have had my 02 HD only 3 weeks and on Monday while washing it I noticed a nice scratch on the passenger door. Some IDIOT just jammed a door into it. Man I was furious when I saw this. I wanted to scream and or cry but there where to many people around. I must have done something in another live because I have bad luck with the Harley Trucks. Good news is that I was able to buff out most off it by hand using the Turtle Wax Color Match stuff.
I wish I could catch these idiots in the act so I can tear them a new one

hey mschon, pickup some meguiars scratch-x. i've tried a bunch of those supposed scratch removal products before to get a few surface scratches out, and the scratchx is the only one that worked, and worked good. might be worth a try
sorry to hear about that though. when my 00 was just a month old, som a-hole keyed my passengerside door
that was REpainte#2 on my passenger door
