New Stereo
Hey All,
Here are some pics of my new Head Unit. It is a Sony XAV-7W. I also got the 10 disk CD/MP3 Changer model CDX-757MX. I love it! it is a 7" widescreen that i use my XBOX to play DVD or XBOX on. Eventually I will get a DVD player mounted. This is good for now. I can fit ALL of my albums from every band in the changer and never have to change a disk! I also installed an override switch so you can have the screen show DVD and XBOX for the passengers while you are in drive.

Looks great! Can't wait to check it all out in person at the Mikes Famous HD f150 meet in a few weeks!

That dvd looks sweet.
Had a question i was wonderin i could get some help on. I'm gonna install the clairon dvd player with the screen and i wanted to put two screens on the back of the headrests but i heard somewhere you can't because the hesdrests have metal or something like that. anyone heard of this or know if i can put two 5.6 inch screens on the headrests. thanks.

200, where did you hear that about the headrests? it sounds reallly familiar, but i can't remember where i read it at. was it at ftw?? not sure
anyway, i think that guy had a 00 HD anyway, and those seats are different. the headrests are attached in teh 00's and don't move up or down. you can install dvd screens on teh back of the 02 hd headrests. check out blwnhd_34's gallery. he did it to his a long time ago

thanks 356 and yea it was at ftw. just didn't look at what year truck he had. thanks, i was worried there for a bit. already bought the screens. thanks

no problem Now that i think about it, i think it was HD2NV8, but not totally sure, but i know they had a 00.
here's blwnhd34's setup...so yes they will work.

great setup! Did you just buy an extra HD emblem and glue it on the back panel behind the center console? I love that emblem. I wish I was up there in the New England area so I could go to these meets and check out these sweet trucks. Oh well...I guess I will have to settle with the pics.

ricekicker, blwn_hd#34 did the same thing with a 02HD emblem. just break the tabs off the back, and just put it on with the double sided tape that's already on the emblems. i have 2 spare emblems coming. Not sure what i'll use them for yet, but i got an awsome deal on them Might put one under the hood for at shows,,,not sure where i could put one on the interior
