You should beable to get a good alarm for about $500, maybe alil more. Micro, Autopage, Compustar are some good ones that We sell at the shop. Get the installers to set the sensitivity up all the way. You can get it set so high that it will chirp if people get within feet of it, muchless touch it. Hope it helps.

Spent all his money for an alarm on his last truck. $800 I think
Got ripped off anyway.
Wants advise on getting a better alarm, so he doesn't get his new HD stolen.
I think that's it.

did the alarm not have any kind of guarantee or reimbursement policy? Also make sure to get wheel sensors or a tilt sensor so if its jacked up or wheels are tampered with the alarm goes off...I'm geting the compustar the thing I like is that it has a two way remote..so the remote will actually vibe or beep to let you know the alarm is going off...so if you cant hear the alarm going off the remote you will

Maybe should have spent more time in English class or typing class.
