Thats is a sad story.

When I take my cars in for recalls I take out a few spark plugs then make then push it around.

Try it, it works.

Just fired? He, and that ford dealership, got off lucky, I 'd pushed the issue all the way to the CEO of ford's customer service!

How did you learn he got fired? He sounds like some punk kid to me. If he drove my truck that way, I would personally kick his a$$ all over the dealership. And I would laugh the whole time.

What a damn jerk. He's lucky he didn't wreck it while pulling that stunt. And if he had, you would bet I would own that dealership by the end of the day, or at least several of their highest priced cars. What an insurance liability that guy was to that dealership. But I would have gotten more satisfaction out of seeing him bleed.

That kid wasn't a kid. He is 28 years old according to his profile. Obviously, he isn't very mature.

I have to say, some of those posts were pretty amusing... although what the guy did was definately NOT!

If that was my car I would be in the middle of the dealership showroom floor screaming until they made me happy - I've done it before And I can definately sympathize with the owner, having been treated as "just another stupid female owner" on more than one occasion by the service dept and the management.

It didn't say what the "final" outcome was.. or if it is still being debated. I hope all goes well for her.

Reminds me of a story my Dad told me once. He was a Ford Tech for 40 years...retired recently. Anyway, they had some apprentice at his shop who took out a customer's Cobra and wrecked it! He was out for a test drive which he shouldn't have been and rear ended someone.

He was fired on the spot and the customer got himself a brand new cobra. Not sure what happened to the person he hit.

When I take mine in for anything, I either stay and wait or take it as close to empty as I can!
