My 2000 model is #7921, built on Oct. 6, 2000. I believe the total production run was 8000 or there abouts. Harley 356 may know of the actual number produced. I think he posted it a while back in a previous thread.

 

Ah yes, theres more proof to what i got in that email from ford of ontario canada

1. FXDX's truck # (which i'm sure some guys are gonna want to see pics of your plaque )
2. 7500 trucks? usually they don't make EXACTLY that amount that they say. 8197 is a weird #, so it makes more sense to me
3. The # came from the ontario plant when i emailed them. I'd believe this over the articles on the web that say 7500. It was moreso they planned to make 7500, just like they planned to make 12K 02 HD's and they really made 12,500 some

Josh do you have that E-mail address for the plant ? I tried the Ford Canada site but only got their customer relations dept They tried to tell me that there are NO build # what a load of sh*t we all know there is some have proof some like me don't (but its not for the want of trying
