Oh man thats hurts. Almost as much as the $6700 I'm spending on my new motor. You'll have to admit, those were some awesome looking cookies.

For my truck. It "blew up" 2 weeks ago. Warranty DENIED. Didn't want to post about it because of the big brother factor. I just ordered a new long block that comes with 3yr/36k mi from ford so I can restore my status......and it wasn't cheap.

All I can say is go with a reputable chip programmer. It appears I went very lean. The motor has not been torn down yet but thats my guess. Ford said "Boy you have had a chip on your truck, therefore you are black listed......have a nice day" Basically they said they have more lawyers, money and all the time in the world.....bring it on. JLP chip worked great, #2 chip from RPMoutlet in houston went boom on the first field test......go figure.

Another very important reason for those of you that have not checked your Air/Fuel numbers to get to a DYNO! Not saying that you didn't Droptop, just making sure that everyone else does! So was the chip from RPM outlet not tuned by JLP?

It was tuned by rpm outlet. I am well aware a/f ratios and I dyno both my vehicles after changes. This bad boy would have blown on the first dyno pass.
