The plastic over my gauges looks like it has quarter sized snowflakes etched in it in a couple of spots. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

I had it too and it was not there in the beginning. It was replaced under warranty. Service could not explain what happened.

I too am seeing snow flake type etching on the inside of the plastic. At what mileage did you notice?

I just got 2,000 miles and I noticed it at a certain light angle.
Did you just bring it in and said, wtf is that and want it replaced?

I noticed it at less than 6K miles and I am positive it was never there before. It was visible only under certain angle, so ot was tough to take pics of it, but I do have them.

I took it to service and asked "what is this", and they were "dunno, we will look into it and replace it if it is not right". So they did look into it and told me they will replace it. When I picked it back up I asked "so what caused that", and they were "we dunno". So I asked "can I take a look at the defective part, I am curious" and they said "no".

In any case, it was replaced BUT it makes me uncomfortable that it appeared just like that.
