6 days without my Baby...

Man does it feel good to drive my truck again! My wife had to have some body work done on her Denali XL--they have had it since last Friday. They gave us a '93 Grand Marquis POS as a loaner to drive... she refused and said "I'll drive your truck!" to which I quickly said "NO!"... guess who won that argument . Anyway, I have been driving my 1976 IH Scout hunting vehicle since last week (like I'm gonna drive a Grand Mother, I mean Marquis). Mustang is apart for improvements. Got my truck back today. Didn't think I could miss it that much in less than a week! Oh well, gotta go --'Feel the Need for Speed' .

My wife knows not even ask to drive my HD. Of course I only get to drive her Acura once in a while and that's because I wash and service it. She can't argue with that.

Yep--Ford really has nothing to compete with the D... Expedition has no room behind the 3rd seat and doesn't ride as well (I know, we had an Eddie Bauer 4x4)--Excursion is just too big and won't fit in our garage. The D will haul my 3 sons and their soccer buddies as well as haul a** with it's 6 liter 320 hp ls1. Full-time AWD is nice too. GM does have their stuff together on SUV's. Now trucks? That's a different story!

I am going all of October without my HD. I just had my transmission re-built in my 89 LTC (157,000 miles) & I have to drive it all month to make sure everything is set. I will put it away before the winter. This was my baby (original owner)before my wife, & HDF150. Last night I went to get a road map out of my truck & it looked so good under my truck cover. Can't wait till the end of the month!

My wife has an 02 EB Expy and it has plenty of room for us and my 2 boys but it sure doesn't have the power but then again I'm used to driving my HD.

Man, FlyArmy, that's tough for sure.

But let me tell you I have a lot of respect and pride in you guys taking care of the rest of us back here in the good ol' USA.

Be Safe and God Bless!!

You will definitely be ready to ride that Dyna and drive the truck when you return.
