Well, its finally on!!!. Came home today, picked up the hood, and put it on. Took a while to get it all lined up perfect cuz when i would latch it, it would push to the left, but after a while i got it perfect. It looks awsome!!!! I can't stop looking at the truck. LoL

anyway here's the pics!!!!

but to start it off, just got my f150online sticker yesterday and put it on my radiator cover for all to see at shows. LoL.




Paint was done by pete's rod nest in elmer nj. He did a great job! There are a couple defects (one little tiny tiny dimple on the driver side by cowl, and like 2 places were i can see a little tiny spec of dirt under the paint, but heck, its waaay better than the stock paintjob, and for 2 little defects that nobody would notice unless they stared at the hood for a few hours like i was, i'm not gonna complain. LoL.

02HD headlights and corners should be here on thursday! I think i've got a bad case of the mod bug. 3 expensive mods in one month! LoL

 

the only other complaint i have is that when i took the hood in he asked how i wanted the bottom of the hood. I said gloss black. Well, he obviously forgot and painted it semi gloss black. O well, still looks great, and i'm not gonna wait any longer to get it redone. LoL

The hood looks great! Personally, I would not be too happy about the satin finish on the bottom. Not that it looks bad, but because he didn't do what you asked for, or "paid" for.
I'm sure it wasn't an oversite. My guess is he realized how much work the bottom side would be, and didn't bother. Like I said, your hood still look great.

BTW-I really like your new slim and trim sig. It was starting to look like a novel down there

 

356 which hood did you get from cervini's the $200 hood or the other, and what is the difference between the 2?

Josh - All i can say is "daaamn" Looks good... Can't wait to see pics with the new headlights. The old ones you have in right now are definately the weak link. the lights got here today. they are in, but still wanna snap a few more pics at dusk, so i'll upload them tonight. it looks sweet! ricekicker is right in that the lights are the weak link. just makes a huge difference!!!

inserts will be here next week. can't wait!!!


N2TRUX yeah, i was just keeping it until i wrote down all the little stuff i did somewhere else just to keep track of it all. Still want to think of a way to make it shorter but still to the point.

FordsOnly44, the hood is ID # 130. The other one is a lift off hood not for on road use. only racing. not sure the exact differences though. mine was like 460 cuz i'm in NJ so tax, but i picked it up myself cuz they are only 1/2 hour away so saved with that. it lists at 439
