I just want to make sure Harley#356 updates his signature with info on the Hyundai with pics.
I've been thinking about getting a third vehicle to keep the miles down on the H-D. Been looking at the Mazda Miatas on Ebay since they get good gas mileage, have their own supporting website and appear fairly reliable. Any other suggestions?

I'm 56, retired from retail and live on an acreage with neighbors no closer than 1/2 mile. Have a garage, a large Morton building and a barn to house the toys.
Have a 10 year old wonderful daughter and a young wife. Lots of scoots and more cars than I can drive. Life is good -- very good!

Hey, what's your age, career, et cetera?
LoL. The guys on the other site know, so i'm sure some of you guys do also who are on both sites, but for anybody that doesn't, i'm 17
yes, thats right, i'm a whipper snapper. suprise any of you ol' farts? LoL, just kiddin. Anyway, since somebody on teh other site started saying i was a poser and a wanna be and the truck's not even mine, let me explain. I was 15 when we got the truck (obviously i still live at home now) so the truck is in my dad's name. Can't buy a new truck when your 15, duh. lol. anyway, I made the down payment, and I buy MOST of the mods (headlights, grille inserts, taillight covers, loom, etc, and any other mods, like my AF1 were like birthday/x-mas gifts. Also, i do ALL the maintence and mods on the truck by myself (oil changes, tire rotation, etc, etc.) and i do ALL the cleaning and detailing myself. My parents even think i'm crazy cuz i spend any and all spare time i have working on teh truck and zainoing and detailing, etc. Anyway, don't view me as somebody who doesn't know what they are talkin about just cuz i'm 17. I'm not saying you guys would, but some people do so.... I'd think that just from all my 2,600 some postings, that i've built up a solid and trustworth reputation on teh boards
. I think over the past year as a member here i've proven my enthusiasm in the HD trucks and know an insane amount of stuff about the HD's. And i'm not some little rich kid that mommy and daddy buys everything for them either. I mean just look at what vehicles we have.. an 85 f150, 97 used accent, and then the HD, which we all dump money into to be able to afford it and do some mods. My dad's a carpenter and owns his own business, and i've worked for him ever since i was a little kid. I still do that on weekends when we have work and all summer, but he has had 2 back surgeries recently and is out of work for now, and neither surgery worked. I'm going to be getting another job at acme during the week to try and earn some more money. But between the HD truck and shows, all honors and advance placement classes in school, construction, acme, and karate 2 or 3 nights a week, i'm pretty busy!. Anyway, sorry for such a long post, i gotta go study for AP history now, got a test tomorrow. LoL

Don't worry what people think Harley about your age. Age doesn't matter at all anymore. The important part is the commonality we share for these trucks. I was heavily into cars when I was a teenager also. I owned a 67 Mustang Fastback, then traded it for a 74 Dodge Charger which I was involved in a street club in which we promoted an annual car show that drew thousands. I also owned a 71 Hemi Cuda that dyno'd at just over 600hp. That car was awesome, but scary to drive. Some of my best memories. Keep it up.
Thanks for all the posts and knowledge. I hope your Dad's back gets better as my Mom suffers with the same problem.

Winter car 87 Vette and 99 Harley Ultra Classic. Am also rebuilding a 70 El Camino for show from frame up (1 1/2 yrs so far) and still a long way to go. Everything shaved. Age & Occupation - Retired and loving it.
The winter car i have now is a 91 Acura legend. The front wheel drive really helps here in chicago when we get those crazy snow storms. Used to have a 98 grand prix gtp, but traded that in for my HD.
I just turned 21. My dad has a landscaping business and I work for him.
