rsav,

That will work! However, I would have bought the Z7 too. It's a great car wash, and helps keep the "Z" looking good as new!

KIT??

Someone said something about a kit, but its not listed on the site.

Is this stuff in stores anywhere or is the only way to get it thorough the order form you have to mail in?

HDf150inWV, i may have said i spent like 120 on a zaino kit, meaning that i bought just about every product they had

www.zainobros.com sells it Send them an email from their homepage to find out where your local distributor is.

rsav,
Be sure to wash the truck with Dawn dishwashing soap first to remove any prior wax or polishes. If you have a lot of marks or spots on the paint you may want to consider the claybar too. My truck was new and had no swirl marks so I just dawned then did the Z1, Z2, Z6 and so on.

Good luck. You will love it for sure.

I applied the Z to the rims and nerf bar today. I never had any complaints with Mothers Mag and Alum polish (except for melting in the garge from heat) but the Z definetely requires less work to buff off. Here's some pics:

looks good . next time i detail the truck, i'll probably use the mag and aluminum polish to get any tar off the inside of the rims and stuff, and then hit it with the z2.

Just show her the pictures or bombard her at work by emailing her a picture every hour. Eventually she will fall in love with the truck and let you buy one

I like abullerm's idea. You could also take the Bart and Lisa Simpson approach....

Can I get an HD?..No
Can I get an HD?..No
Can I get an HD?..No
Can I get an HD?..No
Can I get an HD?..No
Can I get an HD?..No
Can I get an HD?.....

She'll eventually wear down and let you do it just show you'll shut up

I finally finished the Zaino project. I actually did my truck and my wife's Caravan. I have to admit, they both look great. The shine is awesome. Here are a few pics of the truck. I was able to take the pics on a cloudy day, so there isn't any sun glare. This is with claybarring the whole truck, one coat of Z5 and one coat of Z2.

looks great rick! and its only gonna get better with more coats. i'm up to seven, but plan on doing like 3 more before it gets too cold out.

your truck with the 2 sets of pinstripes keeps throwing me off. If i glance at the pic and see the top 1/2, i think 02, then see the bottom half and think 01 since you've got both year's stripes on there

but the truck's looking great!

Yeah, the stripes make it kinda funky, but I like it. The dealer added the 02 stripe kit. When I see an 01 or an 02, it looks like something is missing. At least it's one way to distinguish my truck from others. Getting ready to order a cover. I have decided on the *******. I was thinking about getting the ProSport from Innovationfiberglass, but they said they no longer ship to the East Coast. I like the ******* mounting system better anyway. I just can't decide if I want to add a wing. I am thinking of adding a wing from keystone. They look a lot like the ones I've seen on the ARE LSII.
