Just Got Hitched
Just Got Hitched
Monday, I ordered a $142 Class IV Hidden Hitch from Joe's Hitch and Trailer.
Wednesday they called me, telling me my hitch was in and that they'd install it that afternoon after I got off of work.
Went in, handed them the truck, took what turned out to be a LONG nap on their waiting couch. Woke up finally and went up to the counter and asked what was taking so long. Manager tells me they ordered the wrong hitch for my truck.
I asked why I was still there then. He said to make things right, he told them to install a CLASS FIVE Draw Tite hidden hitch (~$350). Told me to check it out first, and if I liked it, I could be on my way. Hitch looked great; connector plate was bolted to the bumper, so I made them move it back up under the truck and weld it on. They did a good job with that and I was on my way.
Still shaking my head though. TEN THOUSAND POUND receiver?!? Like I'll ever use HALF of that!
Then again, does anyone here need their house pulled back onto its foundation???
