welcome...youve got good taste in trucks...got a good price too...
oil changes are probably at 3000...i had a 2001 supercrew and i did them at 5000...but this is a rocket so they may call for it sooner....
any how great little town you live in...my grandparents lived in Everett all their lives and i visited Mukilteo many times ....

lets see what recommendations you get on the oil changes...

yeah, i do mine every 5K and tire rotations every 10K, but you may want to put it to 3K with the added stress on the motor of the s/c and a heavy foot
and maybe rotate the tires more often if your smokin em a lot

Break-in

I like to vary the RPMs when I can for the first 1k, never going over 3000 or 3500. Then after 1k I gradually work it up higher varying the hugh range for another 500 miles or so. I've done this with all new vehicles in the past. Overkill???? Maybe, but I'm sure these engines are built with tight tolerances. It might pay off in the long run.

Thanks everyone for the welcome & the tips.I also like to keep the rpms way down on the first 1k especially. On my other ride i kept the rpms at 2500 for the first 200 miles, then i moved up in increments of 500 rpms for every 200 miles. Then at 1k i cut her loose.I dumped the oil at 200,1000,3000, way overkill but when i take her to the track it doesnt burn a drop.Oil is cheap women & cars cost.
