Well, i'm bored right now. Probably go wash the truck in a bit, but just gonna post a few pics from my trip to SC myrtle beach. it was a 10 hour drive and drove down through the night. Put 1400 miles on the truck total over the 10 days, and it was the HD's 1st long haul drive over 2 or 3 hours long. And as usual when ever i clean the truck, it rained. it rained the whole way down, the whole way back, and twice down there after i washed it 2 days. LoL. SHould change my screen name to the droughtbuster. well here's a few cool angles that i took of the truck...


I like the reflection on the chrome in this one...


1st time ever I filled the HD up myself. In jersey its full service and your not allowed to get your own gas. Stupid law!

 

Look what parked next to me at one of the restaurants. Delorean! pretty cool car. TINY side windows that open. LoL




and of course. The truck is spotless before we leave, and look at the sky! Rain! Rained 90% of the way home. Started pouring 2 minutes after we pulled out. LoL




Bed loaded with more crap than we left for SC with. LoL

 

oh, about 3/4" of suspenion travel before hitting the bump stop. LoL. Still rode great though on the way home



TONS of bug guts all over the bra and windshield. Truck bra and mirror bra's came in really handy. Definatly worth the purchase!

Filty brown brake dust on teh rims. Not shiney at all...

 

Brown tires, dull exhaust, dull rims, dull truck, embarassing. LoL





O yeah, on the way down there averaged 18 mpg. Got a best of just under 19 on the 1st tank! Not too shaby for being loaded up to the top. Only got 12 mpg once down there cuz short trips, AC always on, and a damn 4 minute traffic light that i had to go through every time to get out of the condo development! Got around 17 mpg on teh way back.

In your second pic I noticed the speed limit sign of 10 mph. Bet that was hard to do. What you do, push it?

Never seen your truck so dirty. You really should destroy that evidence

At least it gives you something to do now. So did they have a drought in Jersey while you were away? Maybe washing the truck will fix that

 

LoL, yeah, that was the speed limit for the condo area. Couldn't go much faster cuz like every 30 feet they had a HUGE speed bump. Kept hearing cars scrape over them driving over it. LoL. I barely made it when i was loaded up.

And there is a drought here. Hasn't rained the whole time i was gone, and now that i just finished washing the truck and she's all shiney and clean, it started to thunder in the distance

every time. LoL
