Thumbs down Hate to ask this ?

My friend has an 02 chevy C-3 truck and I guess he's tired of me whooping him. He is looking to install a supercharger or turbo. Anyone know of any chevy sites which are similar to this one with good information. I told him to step up to the plate and buy a lightning or harley but he likes the 4wd and steering. Some people will never learn I guess.

We've been looking at the Lingenfelter Denali to replace the HD (the black stays clean for about 20 mins and the brakes squeek 99% of the time ): http://www.lingenfelter.com/pac6ltmagsc.asp. We also like the 4-wheel steering and the all-wheel drive of the Sierra Denali.

How anyone can go from a Frod to GM is beyond me.

You can go to a Denali but it will never be a HD. Personally, I don't think the all wheel drive and all wheel steering is worth it, at least not for the driving I do (no off road).

Also, you can get a HD for less than the Sierra Denali.

If you spend $14.5K on the HD instead of that amount to convert a Sierra Denali into a Lingenfelter, the HD will out run it.

You can spend half of that get 500HP (which the Lightning motor should handle), and then spend the other half on suspension, breaks, and video/audio for the HD.

I'm a die hard Ford man and will never make the switch. I'm a die hard HD man too so byt that alone, I will never buy anything that GM puts out.

Enough of this GM talk (unless it is posts of how Ford has a better product), this is the HD FORD site!

Hard to believe in this age that someone could be happy with a farm truck. I have an 01 C3 (along with my Harley) and will never be trading it in for one of those dopey looking rear steering things. BTW "farm trucks" have cab lights and look like duallys with the inside rear wheels removed. Whoops did I just describe a Denali?
