Question High/low simultaneous headlights

I was wondering if there is any way to set up my 02 HD to have both the lower beam and upper beam lights on simultaneously? Just like when you hold the blinker stalk back. This also allows the driving lamps to remain on while using the upper beams. I was hoping that one of you electronic wizards might have some suggestions or ways it could be set up.
Thanks,

there are ways you can do it, but i have heard that you can actually start to melt the headlights??? anyway. i think painless makes a kit that plugs in. but im sure you could do some splicing and get the same affect. i spliced two wires behind the switch in order to get my fogs to come on whenever the headlights were on. im sure if you located the right wires you could splice the high beam wire to the low beam with a switch or something. good luck. if you accomplish this maybe you could write a tech article on it and put it in the archives on this site.

Isn't this going to overload circuitry and create risk of possible blown fuses, wire/light meltdown, or even worse potential fire hazard?

Do you mean the foglights and the hightbeams at the same time? I think there's a mod out there for that. With the sylvania xenarc system it has 2 bulbs in each headlight assemlby. One HID lowe beam, and halogen high beam. When you put it in high beam both stay on..not sure about the foglights staying on though. It's damn bright enough though
