I see evidence in that last statement... if you go back and look at the shot of the HD logo, it looks like the seam has actually photoshopped OUT. see where the seem comes down from the top ? it stops after the stripes, but you can still sorta follow it down.. seems like the line has either been smudged or clone-tooled out.

they probably do this to add emphasis to the logo. it may be slightly harder to focus on the logo with a big black seam running down the picture close to the side of it.

bottom line, we wont know until we see the real deal

I was on a busy congested street that I usually don't take to work when from my right-hand side an HD makes a left hand turn and passes me heading the opposite direction. I knew it was a Supercrew with HD rims, grill and pinstripes but my mind was fried when I noticed that it was two-tone! The lower part was silver/dark shadow grey and the upper part was black.

It went by pretty fast ala Keyser Soze (Usual Suspects) "then it was gone." But there was no mistaking the two-tone paint and rims. It turned from a residential street so my thinking is the onwer lives there, know some who lives there or was just passing thru.

I know there will be a lot of speculation but I know what I saw. I don't know enough about the 2003 to say it definitely was one. I doubt anyone on this board does but I do know an HD when I see one. It could simply be an XLT with HD trim. Who knows?

Anyway, since my wife will be gone all day tomorrow, I'm gonna see if I can bag the one that got away.

 

You mean this one?- I can tell you exactly where they put that logo. It's dead center at the bottom of the windshield...on my 2002 HD. Sorry, it's already being used, but they may use it again...

Beat me to it. Yep, logo already exists on the 02 windshields.

 

uh .. it exists on the 2001 as well.

Yeh LOL someone on here was trying to count all the HD logos on their truck. They were doing pretty good, until they ran acroos the windshield.....ten thousand and 1, ten thousand and 2, ten thousand and 3, ten thousand and...... uh where was I again

anyway, Sean Harris, i'm not doubting you or anything like that, cuz there is always a possibility, but i don't think it was a 03. Since they haven't even been released to the public with full truck pics, why would they be driving one in your state. Maybe if it was in detrioit...maybe, but who knows, always a chance
