has any one changed torque converters , or knows which converter works best

If I was going to do it, I would try to stall at 2200 to 2400 so that my daily driveability is not messed up...

I would go with traction devices and 4.10 gears before the TC. I have researched this one for quite a while and it doesn't sound worth it...

It seems the only one that is going to really work well is the P.I. which is $1000. You can get 4.10s and caltracs or something similar for less...

T converter causing jerking on gas letup

do you experience occasional jerking motions when letting up off gas
feels like downshifting but is not
doesnt do consistancly
am told chip causing
currently have 2002 HD with 8# lower, chip,cold air,throddle body
whats your experience

A shift kit will "clean up" a lot of the weird things your tranny does.
Also, I make a coverter that's not as good as the PI (I'm honest about it), but is a big improvement over the stock unit. It's a pretty good unit, but it's not built for fullon racing like the PI, I designed it for people who want something better than stock but don't have 900 lbs of torque and don't want to drop a grand on it. It goes for $525, with exchange, shipping is about $20.
