Thanks Fat Boy! The no-clamp mounting system does not work as intended. However, at the bottom of the instructions, they highly recommend using the self tapping screws. The way I look at it, what's it matter that a couple of holes have to be drilled? I don't plan on taking the cover off! The quality of the lid is excellent.

Hey Fatboy...I highly recommend A.R.E. LS II Series
It's a great fiberglass hard cover with a lock and looks great. It has air suspension so you can lift it and keep it up without holding it
