Back Headrests
Back Headrests
As you all know, when you try to fold flat the rear seat in our 4-Doors the headrest hits the front seat. So to make it lay flat, you have to move the front seats almost all the way forward.
Which means that you either you have to get an 11 year old or and Umpa-Lumpa to drive for you (thank God for adjustable pedals!).
So my questions are: has anyone tried to remove the headrest when they need to fold them down? Will this damage it? How does one remove them? What other solutions have you come up with?
Thanks.

Yeah, that's what I do everytime. Since both my front seats are always all the way back, that is my only choice. And everytime I get groceries they go on the flattened back seats, not on the leather.
Be careful pulling those things. The first couple of times there really tight and you got to pull pretty good. I was doing like a curl type of pull and the headrest punched me right in the face. Slow and steady now.
No, I dont think so. But you never know. Maybe ill get a postcard from someone with a picture of me holding a head rest in one hand and rubbing my face with the other. It was pretty early in the morning though. I wouldnt have been up at 4:30 am if I wasnt going Deep Sea Fishing. And ill tell you what, The private Charter was worth the $300 per person and a punch in the face.
