just sold my 2000 HD over here in the uk, very very upset but got a great price.i need to now get my hands on a new 2002 model from the states and ship it over here.just come back from florida and the dealer wanted about $35500 which i thought was on the steep side. so if any one can recomend a good dealer with phone number and email if possable i would be very greatfull.
and i saw the hard hydrolic tornu cover with the wing on the back on a lightning while i was in the garage it looked fantastic,and they said they can put one on the harley,what do you all think of this , good or bad idea.

welcome to the site UK HARLEY GUY. Its very informative here. Post some pics of your old and new HD when you get it, and the build numbers. Just a question though? Why did you sell the 00 HD? Anyway, 35.5 is a decent price. Up here in jersey they are getting msrp and above which is 38,405 for a loaded 02 HD. So 35.5 is a decent price, although some guys have gotten it for less. Good luck, and let us know how you make out.

 

There's a dealer in metro Atlanta area who is selling '02 Harleys $3500 off the MSRP. Dang, I can't remember the name and I already tossed the Sunday papers. I think Lou Sobb Ford but I can't be sure. MSRP being around $37K, $3500 off should be around $33.5K. That's getting near X Plan price.

 

Bayview Ford in Daphne Alabama offered me a 02 HD edition for X-Plan. Call them thier Phone # 251-626-7777.

Mobile is just across the Bay and shipping should be very easy.
It is a fairly Large port on The Gulf of Mexico. If I can help post up in the Lightning Board.

The only options on an HD are the 6 disc changer, moonroof, bed extender, and sliding rear window (correct me if I'm wrong guys). This one had everything. The unusual part is that it's being advertised at invoice price. None of the other dealers around here won't let you get anywhere near that unless you're A-plan. If the cash was flowing a little more freely, that baby would be sitting in my driveway!

 

The only other option in addition to the ones Sean mentioned are heated seats.
