Smile Hi from new owner

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I am 'relatively new' owner and this forum was great resource when I was researching the vehicle, making my decision, and negotiating with the dealer.

Now that I am a happy owner of '02 "dark gray shadow" F150 Harley Davidson I am looking forward to joining discussions because, although I am in love with this truck as it is, there are few things here and there that I would like to improve on

In the meantime, I must say that I am more than impressed with it and am more than happy about my decision to purchase it. Now I completely understand enthusiasm of other owners that is shown on here.

Take care!

ZoranC

in the 2002 HD"s the build # appears right inside the cabin...

just look around for all your interior HD badges (LOL) and it will jump right out at you!

WUZZZZ UPPPPPPPPPP?
Welcome to the wonderful worlds of Ford and Harley Davidson. With the help of this website you will be able to do amazing things to your truck.
P.S. this site causes excessive moding, racing, and every now and then (if you hang out in the Lightning rooms) big - headedniss.

Jerzey / Harley #356, thanks for directions, I will look it up tomorrow.

2000F150HD, thanks for the advice. Lowering is definitely something I am looking into and right now it is first on my "Harley To Do" list. Will have to wait somewhat cause I have some high priority things to handle (client I was working for went through "merger" so I am looking for next source of income).

Slingshot & db682, I am working hard on controlling myself when it comes to modding. I will see will I be able to stick to "moderate road".

BLWN_HD#34, I see you are in Los Angeles too, we need to hook up for a beer or something.

When it comes to speed, this truck is fuuun!!!

I had BMW M3 trying very very hard yet I was toying with him. Many riced up Civics and Accuras tried but would last only several seconds. Several Mercedeses and Lexuses, and few Chevy and GMC trucks also tried, some of them even hard, but would too give up relatively fast. I even ate up two V8 Mustangs going up the steep hill. From their behavior it looks like that many car owners mistake it for "just another truck", while other truck owners seem to recognize it or are drawn by Harley Davidson logo on tonneau cover that is not visible to someone that is riding in a car and then try to prove themselves. In any case, almost all of them start to pull back moment they see effect of supercharger. Those that were persistant would give up once I would flip the overdrive. Only one guy so far was able to keep up with me and after we have been dead even for a while we both slowed down and pulled to the side. I was curious what he has there cause I could not recognize what vehicle he modified. And he is laughing like crazy saying "I built it myself, supercharged it, everything, I've been *******ing with people around easily, but your truck is mean." When I told him that my truck is stock, that I did not modify anything on it, he stopped laughing for a second and then started laughing even harder "Man, that is *******ing cool, you've got some kick *** truck there".

Only time I did not go for a challenge was when I was challenged by SVT Lightning. Not because he was stronger (he seemed to be older model so I might have been able to take him down), but because he was a moron (he was challenging me in heavy traffic).

Drive carefully!
