Here's a pic of my friend's 02 HD with the leer cover. I guess like Mystery Fan said, he got one of the last ones before they stopped making them go over the rail. I can get more angles of it 2morrow if anybody wants cuz i gotta head back out there. well off to dust the truck before it rains.

 

That's so nice... I wish I could find one of those "old" ones.... looks much smoother in my opinion.

Unfortunitly I have to get one in the next couple weeks and won't be able to search out and old one if that was even a possibility.

Any other top quality hard covers that fully go over the side like that? Anyone?

Innovation Industries, Snuglid, *******'s--all fit flush and 'lip over' the side.

 

ARE also makes a smoothe one similar to that leer one in the pic. The center bump just doesn't extend all the way to the end of the bed. You can also option for a little wing too. If my 00 HD didn't come with a free tonneau, that's what i was gonna get.


fibernetics is another one that is smoothe and covers the rails and detaches really quick. The guy with the orange L (TZ????)in the L boards got one and he said he reall likes it.
