Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get a lower bumper grill on my HD 2002 that is chromed instead of that dumb black one that it comes with. Preferably one that matches the grille above it.

 

i dont think you could get one that matches the grill above it.... but you gould get the one from the 2000 HD and i believe it would fit in there. but it matches the old style grill.

welcome to the site NorCali HD 02 and congrats on your new HD. Post the build number and pics when you get a chance. ANyway, if you want a chrome lower grille like the 00's have (only year that got em) you have to buy the WHOLE lower bumper. summitman posted the part number a while back. cost like around 500. , unless you find a used one somewhere . you could always get the plastic chromed. OR you could have a custom shop make you a lower grille to match the upper. a guy over at world did that and blwnhd#34 here did that too. If he see's this thread i'm sure he'll post a couple pics. I think he said that the guy that made it for him stopped making them, but i'm not sure. But he should be able to help you out some. Good luck

 

I just ordered a grill which matches the 2002 grill through a shop in Southern California. They are made of polished stainless steel. I actually noticed it here in the Harley Davidson message board online. It was pictured on a silver 2002 HD F-150. As soon as I find there name and phone number I'll post it for you.

Here is the icing on the cake folks!

I have located a true made to order, correct OEM billet lower insert for 2000-2001 HD F 150 lower air dam. Just give Ernie a call @ 1-800-598-5555. He is the general manager @ JBM Sport Truck Accessories in Orange, CA.

I spoke with him on the phone Thursday and this guy was super nice folks!

They also have a website @ www.sporttrucking.com but they currently do not have a picture of this grille in question here.

Yes, I will be attending Sunday's event. I'm hoping to have my personalized California Arts plate by then "COUMER" my dad's nickname. My truck is Black with a snug top tonneau cover and my new lower matching grill, otherwise I'll be the one with no plates.
