The gauge is from Nordskog, I got it from summitt. Once installed the max I saw for boost was 9 psi and it sat on 1 psi at idle. After a couple of weeks, the best I see now is 8 psi and this is after the JLP dual ram air kit. At idle it stays at 00 psi. It is as if the processor learns it calibration over time. I have a digital a/f meter too, but haven't installed it cause I am waiting on a backordered dedicated oxygen sensor for it.

The JLP dual ram air kit added a little more grunt to the truck.

Looks great man, the truck is lookin awsome. What brand cover is that??? It looks alot like the one my friend has (Leer), but i could have sworn that his covered the bed rails all the way. O yeah, is that a spray in liner that you have??
well, keep up the good work, how much longer til your in the 12's? LoL

ah, crap. I though i saved the link to your gallery, but i can't find it. Hope you don't mind posting it one more time. Sorry man (o yeah, if your wondering why i always want the link to a gallery is cuz i save all the pics i can find of HD's and put em on a disk). Sorry to bother you with this again. I'll make sure i save the link this time.

It is a Leer, they changed the design back in December and it doesn't hang over the side rail. At first I didn't really think that I would like it but on black it gets better looking everyday. The bedline is sprayed in and is Line-X. And, last but not least, 12s? I would say if we get a 70 degree evening or less(not in Louisiana) soon, less than a month.

I don't know why they'd change the design, but it still looks good. Anyway, my friend got his HD in early March and he got his cover about a month ago. Did they make that same design earlier but it covered the rails? I think his looks the same except covers the rails. But i may be wrong, only seen it once since he got it. Anyway, I like the design, it almost looks like mine (cuz they are both leers) with the hump in the center except mine's a little wider and has a spoiler thing built in the back.

Link???

356,

I read somewhere that it was in December that they changed the design. His could still be over the rail. I personally prefer the look of the leer on your truck but, I don't think I could have found one.

yeah, i guess he could have gotten one of the last over the rail ones. I'll have to check it out next time i see him. Anyway, thanks for the compliment. I don't think this leer would fit your truck though because mine's the longer bed and flareside. Also, this cover came with the truck (well was supposed to come with the truck slight -yeah right- delay). It was made special for the 00 HD's but since they had so much trouble with it, 00 was the only year that got the factory tonneau.

From: Tampa, FL, or Memphis TN... depends.
Clonetek,

It is a bit hard to tell from your pics, but how does the gauge pod blend in with the A-pillar. I am specifically speaking about color and texture. Can you get another a little farther away for me?

Also, what size gauges does it take?

I'm kinda bummed a bit about the cover... was looking at getting one in the next couple weeks. Not sure if I like the one that does not cover the rails all the way. DAMN! I am always late in the game.

Cool

I think I know why they changed the design of the rear lid - the old one that went completely over the rail (I had one and got rid of it) was impossible to get on and off of the truck without scratching the paint at both front corners. I loved the cover (Leer) but couldn't live with the scratching and the thing weighs a ton!!!! I went back to the Extang Platinum Edition - looks good. easy on and off, and weighs nothing.

I order the dual pod from summit. It won't fit unless you do what we did and dremel out a chunk for the hand rail. The color and texture are a match for the black interior. The gauges are 2 1/16".
