new pics..
ah ha. Mystery Fan, I found a pic of the cover that my friend has on his 02 HD. Its a scan of the add for it. So he did get one of the last over the rail Leers. I'll have to take pics next time i see him
yeah, i would probably get used to it if my cover was like that too. Look great from a distance though , i didn't really notice your cover didn't cover the rails until i looked at it a second time. I'm just glad mine covers the rails, Heck, i'm just glad that my cover came with the truck. LoL. i hate all that plastic though as it is.It just turns white from the liquid glass, and then i gotta use peanut butter to get it off. Just makes more work.
They should put less of that gray plastic on the truck, it would look better then too. O well, still an awsome truck

I have heard good things about Liquid Glass. I have been using Zaino on my other vehicle for about a year now and it doesn't leave any residue on plastic. If you haven't tried it you might want to give it a shot and you won't have to used peanut butter anymore.
Yes, the only thing i have used on my truck is LG, that's all my dad has ever used on his vehicles too, and i get comments all the time as to what kind of wax i use. But i tell em its not wax, and they don't get it, then i have to explain. As for the Zaino, i think i'll stick to LG on the HD cuz that's what i've always used on it. Also, all that Zaino stuff gets me confused. Seems like it would take me a week just to understand what stuff goes on first and before this but after that and during this or that. And then seems like it would take me another few days just to do it all. Too much time for me and probably too much money for all the products, although LG is pretty expensive itself. Anyway, maybe when i get a used ranger or small pickup i'll try Zaino or that Klasse stuff, but for the HD, i'm just gonna stick to the LG and PB. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Gotta go back to your fist post now to see who made it.

The pod came from summit racing. If you look close you will see where we used a dremel to make room for the handle. Gaugepods.com has a full pillar replacement but I wanted to keep the handle.
sweet...how much hp is that worth? Alot a bugs will probably be gettin sucked into there
. How noticible is it from standing like 10 feet from the front of the truck?
thats a really nice diecast collection you've got there clonetek. Whats the total count on that? gotta be a nice amount of greens tied up in that set. I've got about 20 diecasts in my collection, around 30- 1/24th scales that i built, 1- 1/12th scale 64.5 stang, and 3 r/c trucks (00HD, 01HD, and F350). I wish i could display mine like you've got some of yours though with out a case. But its so dusty here in south nj with all the farms they get too dusty too quick, and its easier just to dust the boxes. Anyway, what's that pic of that dodge doing on your wall?
LoL
Here's a blurry pic of part of my collection (not that you can tell what is what cuz its so blurry) LoL.
*edit*Argh, finally this damned thing worked. This is the fourth time i've tried to type this, but it kept comming up with an error, or said i had to re-login. I'll learn to copy my messages before i click save changes because my computer can be a b!tch. LoL

are you talkin about my pic? or clonetek's? If your talkin bout mine, its only a small fraction of the size of his. LoL. his is friggin HUGE!!!.
My shelves aren't as bad as they look in the pic though. The ceiling is way outta wack too so that makes it look like they are sagging a little too, and the 2 sets don't meet in the middle at the same height so it looks a little off. But it doesn't look that bad in person, and it's a place to keep em so....

Or I might be a little off

Anyway, if you think that's alot, go back to the 1st page of this thread and in clonetek's sig, click on his 3rd link for friend's ride. I think the album with all his cars is the 2nd or 3rd one. Now that's alot of cars, but i'm tryin to catch up. LoL
