ARE YOU CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!??????!!!!!!!!!????????!!!!!!!????? ????

No flame intended here, so please don't take this the wrong way. But why did you pay that much for this truck and then wanna change the rims??????????????????????????? These are the nicest rims one road IMO. and the fact that they come stock is another huge plus. You paid for the rims, so why pay even more to get ones that are an inch or two bigger???? Yeah i know you probably got it cuz it was a s/c crew cab and all, but wouldn't it have been cheaper to get a regular crew and put a s/c and rims on it instead of paying all that for the HD and taking off the MAIN thing that makes this truck so much of what it is??? I just think that there's so much more you could use that money for to make your HD more 'unique' and more powerful. Again PLEASE don't take this the wrong way man, you can do as you like and it probalby would look good, but i am just baffled at the fact that someone would pay that much for this truck then alter it that much by changing the trademark rims.

Once again, i'm just curious, don't wanna start trouble or anything buddy.

Well hey, if you do get new rims, i'll buy your centercaps. LoL

well,

the only way I would change the rims is if I could get the exact same ones only a couple inches bigger. that way it still maintains the fact that its a harley.. but still, thats kinda a waste of money in my eyes, no flame intended.

but the wheels are already big enough. why not just drop it a little ?

money is not really an object here, just throwing out an idea. ive changed rims before on a suv simply because i wrecked the truck and bigger, flashier rims were cheaper than stockers. plus, got my hd for $31K, have money to burn on mods and extras

jonrauch,

What kind of plan did you get? The invoice price is $32,191 (w/no options).

i'm a professional athlete so the dealer i was buying the truck through thought that he'd hook me up - the gm of the dealer listed me as a relative and gave me the d-plan. Plus, my truck has no options on it.

Hmmm... you were able to get a Harley that cheap and did not get any options like Sunroof, CD Changer, or sliding rear window?

The truck i got was the only dark shadow gray one that they were going to get, plus it was already on the showroom floor. the only option id really want is a sunroof, but im thinking about putting in a large sliding ragtop style sunroof so the rear passengers can enjoy the open air too.

yeah i can see changing the rims on a suv, because the rims aren't special edition on special edition truck! I could mabye even see getting the HD rims in 22's if they made them, but the 20's look great and if you get a drop, it'll look even better. You can do as you like though, don't wanna start any trouble, i just don't understand why buy this truck and change the stuff that makes the truck so much of what it is. Post pics if you do change em though.

jonrauch, We all know what the minimum salary cap is...they make rookies pay for their own travel? Just kidding! Congrats on the "bigs." BTW, see if you can get FT to send me an auto.

I'm with you on the wheels. Can't live in SoCal without at least 22's! To break up the monotony (everyone else's '02 HD), I was going to get 22's and store the 20's in the garage, when we go to trade-in or sell. Just can't find the right 22's to match the truck.

I saw a shadow 02 running around Houston last week with chrome 22's and a nice drop. It looked sweeeet! It was rolling, so I never got a chance to see what the wheels were, or ask about the drop. I say save the factory wheels from curb rash, and tuck some double Dubz under it...
