This is not a knock on you '00 or'02 HD owners but.. I dont understand why Ford put such an UGLY *** steering wheel on such a hot truck. Couldnt they have come up with a special one? That is like putting Rosie O'Donnels head on Anna Kornikova's body. 
Just my opinion. I would not like looking down at that steering wheel each time i got into that truck to drive it. I like the one that is on the '01 model the best. The '00's also have the same as the '02 right? Anyone change theirs? Anyone not like it as much as me?

Harley2001NJ, i agree, the steering wheel on teh 00 and 02's are kinda ugly (same wheel on both). I don't understand why ford upgraded the wheel in 01 and then went back to where they were for 02 HD's.
ANyway, for those of you who don't know, the 00 and 02's have the 2 spoke leather wrapped wheel, and plain black plastic center (pic at bottom). The 01's have the leather wrapped wheel with the black plastic center, but they are 4 spokes (more comfortable for driving) and have a jeweled ford emblem on the center, instead of just an embossed one like the 00 and 02's. I don't think its that big of a deal, but i do like the 01's wheel the best. Just a perk the 01 has over the other two. Each year has certain perks over the other model years, thats just how it goes.
Here's a pic of my 00's wheel, maybe someone can post a pic of a 01's wheel.

Well, I personally like the 00's and 02's steering wheel better. I didn't want that blue Ford oval emblem in the middle of my steering wheel. But a steering wheel that was unique for the Harley Edition would have been nice

I like the gas cap and tailgate handle. Awsome pics w/ the 3 trucks in it.
