OK... crunch time. Have the cash in hand--mods on the brain . Was pretty well set on waiting on the Autologic chip tuning from PSP--but no expected date of availability yet. Sooo--Finger is on the trigger to get the JLP 5 lb lower pulley (how much does this actually give our trucks? I've been told several different things ) with Diablo chip and 4x4 trans pan with valve body... question is, what about a cold air intake? Is it worth it? Or should I just add a K&N panel filter and mod the factory box? Does anyone have pics of JL's 'Twin Ram Air' setup?

My buddy in Charlotte has the 5lb lower on his 02HD. Before the install, he had the exact amount of boost that I have--9lbs. After installing the pulley, he has 12.

All of the lower pulleys are rated with the L in mind (considering the smaller upper pulley). With that said, expect 2lbs less than what the lower pulley is rated at. So a 5lb pulley will net you 3lbs.

 

Can you describe his twin ram air setup to me? I've called JLP about a dozen times over the past month--always get a voice mail (beginning to think these places are located in someones closet with PO box and an answering machine... ). I'm ready to put fear into the hearts of stock ls1's and Cobras, as well as embarass stock GT's .

Jon, how do you like your HD? They're badass trucks IMO. I couldnt believe the power the first ride I took in one. What mods are out there for 02 HDs? My fiance's dad got one and may start modding soon. Which exhaust would be best? I was thinking dynomax ultra flo.
