This isn't one of those tricks like Harley#356 tried to play on us thinking he had a new HD, is it? If so, I'll be the 1st to call your bluff.
Damn man. You're going to be giving some stock Lightning boys a run for their money..............almost. OK, not quite. But it'll be close........sort of. Nice plans for next week. You must be selling the 'good stuff', eh. j/k.
Cheers.

Db682, good luck gettin it all in. What kind of performance increase does the msd for? I don't know much about ignitions.

Zeus, cut me a break, it was for april fools, just a few days late. Anyway, i fessed up pretty quick, and had some good comparisons and pics in there. Hopefully i can afford his next year when he gets a 03.

Mystery Fan, the chrome pipe is for his air force one fipk. Same thing as a K&N, but much much nicer looking. Can't wait to see it all in Db682

Hey, nice lookin mods you have there...let us know how that ignition works out for you.
Also, I was checking out your gallery, you have a nice stereo, you got any install pics of that stuff in? I was wondering where the heck you put 6 separate tweeters, and why?

Db682 - do that stacker ignition all by itself then take the truck for a drive, that way you'll know if/how it helps out. That intake system and chip will definately give you some power and you don't want to confuse that with the MSD

Thumbs up Great Results

I Finished the install and I have to say that it was well worth it. Ive made another post room(thread) with some more pics or check my gallery(mod install and some pics from infield at the track during practice today). I did each mod. seperatly and would have to say that the ignition was probably the best for the money ($259 or $295 i forget). I installed the air force one first and was happy(if I can notice a difference in engine preformance Im happy). It gave more then i expected for just an intake. Very easy install. Next I did the Ignition. That was a little more diffucult then the MSD instructions make out to be. I ended dumping those and used wiring diagrams out of the back of Chiltons. I figured out that it is much easier to tap the coil triggers at the cpu harness instead of at each coil. (cant reach the back coils). I ended up mounting it under the driver side power dist. fuseblock. It has 8 LEDs on top to let you know if it is getting triggers from each coil. Which came in handy because I had a bad conx. but you cant tell if you dont use to LEDs. All and all depending on your auto mech. and elect. knowledge it is could be a bitch of an install if you dont have the right tools. It was another great add-on for preformance. You notice it right from the start. Literaly, as i backed out of the driveway i knew it was there. From dead start, more torque and power right off the line and much smoother and stronger top end. And the chip AHH. The cream on the cake. Very happy. The only problems were when i was pluging and unpluging the cpu harness.Which i must have done about 15 times. Hell on my hands. Damn there killing me now. And oh yeah dont install the intake before doing the ignition. You just end up taking it off cause it gets in the way. Beside, you get finger prints all over it.

Angry and then there was rain

I forgot to add that it started raining this afternoon so traction was getting S hitty and i decided to call it a day before i got to do any real road testing. Ill keep you post on the testing. Im gonna try to get into the track and run it there. I can pull alot of strings out there and i get alot of favors. We'll see, they let me test it there before i bought the truck. If theres nobody practicing ill get in, I hope.

Talking I-95

Yeah Baby. I decided to go for a drive to St. Augistine this morning in the rain and OOOHHHH S H I T! That was a great drive. If your questionable about getting the stacker. I would have to say go for it. The Best place i found on pricing was at Summit Racing. When I got mine they said they only had 3 left. But I checked and the note is no longer there. If you just look up under MSD in there part search it wont come up. Search under msd-7020. Im gonna post details about the install in the thread "Install Pics" for another guy. I checked around and there are alot of companys charging $400+. Be aware you can get it cheaper. Mike at superchips said that he can get MSD products and his prices shouldnt be that bad. Im sure you can work w/ him. Try summit 1st though.
