Well I had the HD 2 Years and Paid it off in one
( yeah)
BUT Becoming Debt free in one year Had to spend everything I had saved and all the extra stuff (toys ) I could sell were gone.
So Murphys law says " What Can Go Wrong, Will"
1. Debt Free (cool)
2. Son Goes to Out of State D1 School (U of Ala.)
3. NO Savings Left
4. Upstairs Air Unit In house Goes Out (3500.00 US)
5. wife Has Blowout in HD Takes out backright Rim (1089.00) From Ford.
6. Tired of no fun money and have 9 year old twin girls
7. with the miles and rim could sell right now for 20,000 to dealer where I got it and have money and fix everything, and savings and buy used beater.
I just am more secure with money in hand now insted of stuff
and yes I will probably get another HD I LOVED IT

It's good to see some of you actually driving your trucks. My lease is up soon, and I have been toying with the idea of getting one of your awesome Harley editions. However, it will be my only vehicle - subject to all of nature's best - including the ice and snow. Anyone else use theirs for a daily driver? Do you remove the 20's in the winter?
Mine's a daily driver, but i only put about 10 thousand a year on it. I only put 3500 to 4000 a year on my 85 when i use that for my construction business. Winters here in south jersey can be pretty bad, or not too bad at all. This year wasn't bad, but after every time i drove it on freshly salted roads, i washed the rims and chrome. I can't afford another set of rims, and i don't think i could put up with having stock rims on her for 3 or 4 months and having it look like a knock off harley with out the rims. Also i'd probably store the rims in my living room so i just leave them on and their still in perfect condtition.
